Recently, Vir Das performed at the world renowned at the John F Kennedy Centre in Washington DC. Where he ended his show with a monologue called 'Two Indias'.
After this monologue video of Vir Das went viral, several people were offended by the remarks made by him while some lauded his act of telling facts and truth.
Two complaints have been filed against comedian Vir Das for "derogatory statements against India". The complaint further says that he had suggested that the PMCares fund was a 'fraud'.
After this whole backclash, Vir Das shared a note with a clarification and apology around this whole matter. He asked people to not judge with the edited clips on social media.
