Popular screenwriter and director, Mike Hodges dies at 90 due to heart failure.

Hodges began his career in films as a writer and director in the British mafia movie 'Get Carter'.

Hodges died in Dorset, England at his home due to heart failure.

Some of his top work includes 'The Terminal Man,' 'A Prayer for the Dying,' 'Croupier' etc.

The cult classic sci-fi Flash Gordon being one of his top works as a director.

Apart from films, he also directed a music videos for Queen.
