James Cameron To Re-Release Avatar in 4K

Director of the all time highest  grossing movie ever, James Cameron has decided to re-release Avatar movie in 4k in cinemas.

The news comes Ahead of the release of Avatar: The Way of Water on December 16, which is the sequel of the film.

The movie will be re-released in theatres on the 23rd of September and has been removed from Disney+.

While announcing the news on Twitter, James said "We remastered the movie and decided it deserved a new poster".

However,  the movie is still available to rent digitally on services like Apple TV and Amazon Prime Video.

This highest-earning movie of all time has four planned sequels to the 2009 released film.

The 2009 Avatar grossed $2.8 billion and is still number one. The sequel has faced criticism even before release as it's duration is 3 hours.
