Strong earthquake hits southeastern Taiwan

An earthquake of 6.8 magnitude has hit southeastern part of Taiwan.

As of now, 146 people have been reported injured due to this and caused heavy destruction.

The fire department of the island reported that one person had died due to this natural disaster.

The US Pacific Tsunami Warning Center also issues an alert after the disaster which was later lifted.

This is not the first time that Taiwan has faced such calamities.
